Through simple, everyday activities like talking, playing, and exploring together, the program helps parents support their baby's healthy growth and development. Abriento Puertas is a program that supports parents of young children (ages 0–5) in becoming confident leaders and strong advocates for their children’s learning. The program provides parents with tools, knowledge, and encouragement to help their children grow up healthy, successful, and prepared for school. It is grounded in an approach called popular education, which honors parents’ life experiences and promotes learning through group dialogue, storytelling, and cultural traditions.
